Recipe development for Wylde One

Most protein balls on the market are heavily based on dates, as well as nuts. I personally find them overly sweet. By developing this recipe I wanted to get away from that concept, as much as possible, while keeping the bliss balls healthy, high in protein, fibre and low in sugar (well, no refined sugar). Chickpeas are a great source of plant protein, as well as fibre, iron, potassium and vitamin B6. The added cacao nibs give a satisfying little crunch. See recipe below.

2 packets of Wylde One Immune Shrooms
1/2 can of drained chickpeas
4 pitted Medjool dates
1 tbsp almond butter
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp coconut nectar (or date syrup)
Pinch of cinnamon
1/4 cup cacao nibs

In a blender mix together all the ingredients apart from the cacao nibs until smooth.
Add the cacao nibs
Shape them into small balls. If they are too soft add more cocoa powder
